New Beginnings

Trying this new thing called Blogging!  I'm excited and a little nervous.  When thinking about whether or not I wanted to do this I thought ... "Ofcourse!!  You have so much to say about any and everything!!" And now ... nothing is coming to mind. 😀😀

I created this blog for journaling purposes and to see where my mind, creativity, ideas will take me too! So, a little about ourselves.  

My name is Pohai and I am Hawaiian, Japanese, Peruvian and Austrian.  Great mix right!  I am a mother, I am LDS, I am a gym mom, I love fashion and pretend to know what I'm doing, I am anti-porn - it's all about real love, I am learning something new every day. 
I am married to Tommie who is Greek.  He has created 2 restaurants, an Italian (www.cafemezz.com) and Hawaiian (www.eatatuncles.com) and is in the process of opening a 3rd hopefully this Fall 2017. He loves soccer, enjoys the teachings of Buddha, an activist on feeding the hungry and helping those in need.  
We have 3 boys, Kekoa, Kili'ohu and Kamaha'o who keep us busy all the time. We just had our first little girl, Anuhea who is loved by all!  

I am excited for any and all who want to come on this blogging adventure with me! And let me know if there is anything you want to hear or talk about with me.  I may know something about it and or I won't and can learn about it!

Day 1

I just recently had my 4th baby back in February.  And I was very blessed to have church members and friends bring my family and I meals.  It was amazingly helpful and I think we would have been eating Samin for weeks if not for those lifesaving meals.  One of the meals that was brought to me, she also packed protein ball snacks.  They were AMAZING!! (I'm still learning how this blogging all works and I don't know how to add a picture) I had asked for the recipe, bought all the ingredients and then life got going.  The ingredients have been sitting on my counter for weeks and last night I was finally able to make them!  Oh man I forgot how amazing they were.  And they were a huge help to me today as I tried to get my oldest out the door, get my other 2 boys ready for the day, nurse baby girl and get myself dressed.   Here's the recipe.  Easy to make, my little ones loved it, wrap it in wax paper and throw it in your purse and it's there for an after gym snack and del

Day 2

What a busy few days it has been.  My mind and body have been all over the place and I'm trying really hard to focus and make sure I'm accomplishing everything.  Naturally there are some good days and plenty of bad days.  Luckily I am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate ( Www.mydoterra.com/pohaibkoukoulis )  and my oils have come in handy! My go-to oil is usually In Tune!!  Oh man does that one save me both mentally and emotionally.  In tune does exactly what it says - keeps me In Tune to what is going on.  Being a Mom of 4, taking care of the house life, and trying to maintain my sanity I need some focus!  There are some days I feel like Doug from the Disney movie up - talking and going about my business and then SQUIRREL! Then all of a sudden I've started 4 things in my house and I'm trying to finish my 5th thing.  UUGGHH Here's hoping that tomorrow is a better day. Till next time!
